Join us for the Annual Women’s Catch and Cook on the stunning Detroit River, launching from Sinbad’s Restaurant on May 9th, 2026! This signature Women of the Wild event combines the excitement of spring walleye fishing with a delicious culinary experience—perfect for women of all experience levels.

Event Highlights

•Four hours of guided walleye fishing aboard professional charter boats

•Learn and experience multiple fishing techniques, including jigging and planer boards

•Fish in both Michigan and Canadian waters (licenses required)

•All fishing gear and equipment provided—just bring your enthusiasm!

•Enjoy your freshly caught walleye prepared by chefs at Sinbad’s Restaurant in a variety of mouthwatering styles

What’s Included

•4-hour guided fishing trip

•Professional fish cleaning and preparation

•Gourmet lunch featuring your very own catch

• A portion of the fish caught will be cleaned for our lunch together, the rest will be packaged up for you to take home. (Permitting enough fish are caught) please bring a cooler bag and ice for transport home.

What’s Not Included

•Alcohol and appetizers during lunch

•Michigan and Canadian fishing licenses (required for participation)

As with all Women of the Wild events, drugs and alcohol are strictly prohibited on boats and during event activities. This policy ensures a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone.
