April is prime time on the Detroit River, with the annual walleye run in full swing — making it one of the best opportunities of the year to reel in plenty of fish and take home a generous catch.
This trip offers an excellent balance of fun, learning, and camaraderie on the water. All necessary fishing equipment is provided, and your fish will be cleaned and packaged for you to take home at the end of the day.
What to Bring:
•Slip-resistant shoes
•Weather-appropriate and waterproof gear (rain or shine event)
•Cooler bag with ice for your cleaned fish
•Michigan fishing license (required)
•Canadian fishing license (optional – may be purchased the morning of if Canadian waters are used)
